Ever wanted to take an ASTD certificate program but couldn’t because of travel restrictions or budget issues? Now you can! Beginning this month, you can participate in a variety of certificate programs online.
Just ran across an excellent example of online learning put out by the Red Cross. It is called Be Red Cross Ready. It uses a great blend of Flash and video to get the message across very effectively.
The Chapter Incentive Program is a way of helping our local chapter financially, which in turn helps us create new programs. When you support the National ASTD by renewing your membership, buying a book, or registering for a national conference, the local chapter earns a part of the revenue. Each chapter has been assigned a source code (for Puget Sound Chapter = CH8020). When you use the chapter source code to purchase ASTD products and services, our chapter will automatically get its share.
