Professional Development

The Chapter provides a number of special events per year focused on developing specific Areas of Expertise, as outlined in the ASTD competency model. Priorities are identified based on feedback from chapter members and workplace learning trends. Programs vary in length, 2 hours up to 2 days.

Events are posted on the ASTD website and registration is open to both members and non-members alike.
One of our premiere events is the Regional Conference. Typically a one-day, comprehensive event that covers a wide range of leading edge, relevant and applicable topics that refresh and invigorate your thinking and approach to workplace learning.

If you have an idea or would like to help plan/organize an event, please contact VP of Professional Development
