Congratulations to ASTDps for "Sharing Our Success!"

SOS 2008

As some of you may already know, the ASTDps Chapter was recently recognized by ASTD National for sharing our new Board of Directors recruiting process. The “Sharing Our Success” recognition specifically honors Lisa Downs, the 2008 Chapter President, and Mary Cutting, the 2008 VP of Organizational Development, for proposing this New Board Succession Management Process. It also honors the entire 2008 Board of Directors for successfully implementing the process.

Collaborative Learning Communities SIG is Virtual...Please Join Us!

The upcoming Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) SIG meeting will be held online. I hope you can join us on Wednesday evening (1/21). Our meeting was virtual last month as well, and it was a great discussion!

See the Events Calendar and click on “Register Now” to see more details about CLC and how to log in.

Twitter Anyone?

I've set up a Twitter account for myself that I use exclusively for ASTDps "tweets." For those of you not yet familiar with Twitter, it is a way to send out quick, "micro-blogs," (aka "tweets") of 140 characters or fewer. Twitter allows you to follow other people or groups (e.g., all the major networks like CNN, NBC, etc. have Twitter accounts so you can follow the latest headlines).
