Held on the second Monday of each month, the goal of this SIG is to provide a supportive venue in which people who are in the midst of or contemplating a career transition can exchange information, ideas, and contacts as well as take advantage of the specialized knowledge of each other and of guest speakers.

 Dear Colleague in Workplace Learning,  We're glad to announce that online registration is now open for The Evolution of Learning, the ASTD-Cascadia 2009 Regional Conference, to be held at the Salem Conference Center on September 23-24, 2009. 

Judith Hale, Ph.D., CPT will be conducting the following workshops on May, 27th 09 Assessment: Diagnose Before Prescribing (8AM to 12 Noon) This workshop focuses on techniques for quickly diagnosing performance problems. Objectives: Attendees will gain a set of rules and tools they can apply when: – Asked to recommend a solution. – Wanting to determine if training is an appropriate solution. – Wanting to isolate variables that may be impeding performance.

ISPI Invites you to their April 14th Chapter Meeting. Our world has become increasingly complex, with access to more information and more opportunities than ever. Only organizations that seek out and welcome change will continue to excel in this increasingly competitive business environment. We’ve become adept at recognizing the need for change, which changes to embrace, and how to implement change, including how to track our progress. However, the role of people in change remain our biggest challenge.
