If you are a member at ASTD Puget Sound, you have probably noticed all the nice people hosting events, taking your money, writing for the newsletter, participating on committees, creating website content and so on. As VP of Volunteers, I am seeking a team to design and deliver one big APPRECIATION EVENT for all the chapter’s volunteers. It is totally appropriate for any member, active volunteer or not, to join this little team. By the time of the event, you will have obtained “active” volunteer status.

I am seeking a volunteer to lead media relations efforts, related mostly to National Employee Learning Week as implemented in the region by the Chapter. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an outgoing and assertive individual, who enjoys building relationships with newspaper, magazine, TV journalists, and online/social media at all levels, and who loves the thrill of seeing the coverage they secure for the Chapter in the media.
