Chapter Information
Welcome to the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).Our strategic direction is to be the premier resource for training and development in our area. The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) is a national organization dedicated to the professional development of those in the training field. The Chapter was organized in 1953 by a core of professionals in the training and development field to offer support and information on the latest trends in the field. We are celebrating more than 50 years of professional development.
Mission StatementOur mission is to provide leadership to individuals, organizations, and society to achieve work-related competence, performance and fulfillment. We are continuing in our efforts to make the Puget Sound Chapter of ASTD more visible in the community, more connected to businesses, government and non-profit organizations, and finally, more committed to its members.
